When does the pressure gauge need to be replaced?

To ensure the safety and accuracy of pressure monitoring, you can check the working status of the pressure gauge regularly. If the performance of the pressure gauge deteriorates or exceeds its service life, it should be replaced in time.

It is inevitable that the pressure gauge will fail during use, some minor faults can be used normally after repair. However, harsh environments will shorten the life of the pressure gauge. It may even cause the performance of the pressure gauge to deteriorate:

Conditions that can degrade the performance of a pressure gauge include:

1. The dial scale is unclear;

2. The pressure gauge pointer is seriously deformed, loose or broken, etc.

3. Leakage caused by failure of pressure gauge seal (glass breakage, joint leakage, shell damage, etc.);

4. Pressure gauge accuracy is reduced and calibration is invalid;

5. The pressure gauge spring tube loses its elasticity or cracks and leaks.

These situations will directly or indirectly affect the accuracy and reliability of the pressure gauge. Therefore, when any of the above situations occurs, the pressure gauge should be replaced in time, to ensure the accuracy and safety of the measurement results.
